* Executive roles are voluntary and voted on by the membership based on a majority consensus.  A term of an Executive Role is up to three years.

*Role descriptions:

Co-Chairs (maximum of 3)

• Role and responsibility of the Co-Chairs: 
• Schedule and chair meetings.
• Develop the agenda and distribute meeting minutes to members.
• Facilitate work towards fulfillment of annual association objectives, and work plan. 
• Act as liaison between the Association and the Ministry of Education, SMHO-SMSO, and the Ontario Association Social Workers (OASW) / OASW School Social Work Advisory Group (SSWAG).
• Addressing and following up on membership concerns

Treasurer (maximum of 2)

• Role and responsibility of the Treasurer: 
• Collect annual membership fees. 
• Issue initial invoice and an email reminder of payment due date  to potential members.
• Issue receipt for paid fees.
• Manage the banking needs of the Association.
• Maintain an up-to-date list of paid members and non paid members.
• Provide year-end financial report, and other times when requested.

Secretary (maximum of 2) 

• Role and responsibility of the Secretary: 
• Maintain an up-to-date list of all members and their contact information.  
• Ensure minutes are taken at each meeting.
