  • Aligning our work with PPM 169 time-limited focused evidence-informed information.
  • Collaborate and share a common understanding of best practices related to the delivery of quality school social work services and management of staff in school boards across Ontario.
  • Advocate for programs and services for students in Ontario school boards that provide opportunities for success.
  • Promote the role of Manager of Social Work Services and school social work to Ontario school boards, government, and the public.
  • Facilitate linkage to other professional groups and associations.
  • OASBSWL membership is for those in a supervisory role of school social work services.
  • Members must be a registered social worker, with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers (OCSWSSW).
  • The School Social Work Framework originated from research with Michael Kelly and School Social workers across Ontario.
